Recommended material
Medium to thick knitted fabrics are suitable for sewing the sweatshirt - stretchy materials (stretchy sweat fabric, fleece, double knit, warmkeeper, etc.). For the waist and sleeve hems, I recommend a patch (snap). You will also need a weaker one-sided iron-on fleece and a split zipper.
